Stuart Scott, a longtime anchor at ESPN, died Sunday morning at the age of 49. He inspired his colleagues with his talent, his work ethic, his personality, and his devotion to his daughters, Taelor, 19, and Sydni, 15.
I remember in 2012 when I first interviewed Mike Hill...(then of
ESPN) I never had a long conversation and were never called friends...
But I remember Stuart Scott and his tweet telling me good job and great
doing the interview.... touched my
heart. Someone with his class and broadcasting grace, was a motivational
tool in pushing my career further. Stuart Scott was the ultimate
motivator with his fight with cancer, and also his work ethic. He
brought a cool element to ESPN and my heat hurts to hear of his passing
this morning. May God touch and embrace his family and friends during
this trying time, and may his legacy still be appreciated for eternity
With love and appreciation
